Profile: Stuart signed for the club just before the transfer deadline in March 2007 and played his first game for the club when he came on in the 2-1 win against Oxford City. Stuart came through the Youth set up at Bath City before spending time out on loan before being released in 2006. Stuart will run all day, is very comfortable on the ball and possesses a very long throw-in which is a positive outlet during the game. He is equally at home in either the full back or central defensive positions but the management team feel his best position is at full back. His hard work in training was rewarded with starts in the play off semi-final win at Burnham and the final win against Taunton Town; although he didn't last longer than 20 minutes in that game as a stray elbow closed his eye and he had to come off. Stuart will be a good signing for the club in the 2007/08 season and will push for a regular start in defence.
