Profile: Chris signed for the club at the end of October 2007 from Gloucester City and along with Richard Kear played his first competitive match at Merthyr Tydfil in November. A solid and hard working midfielder who can also play at the centre of defence. He has a great stamina with good tackling and passing ability and will never stop working during the ninety minutes. He is always looking to get back to help in defence and support the front line going forward when playing in midfield. A good leader and he proved to be a great signing for the club with a number of excellent performances last season. With a number of clubs after his signature during the summer the management team were very pleased to secure his services once more.
