Marine beat
Chippenham to book final date
1
The Wiltshire Premier
Shield final will be an-all Swindon affair after
Supermarine saw off old foes Chippenham in an
ill-tempered semi-final.
Leading 4-2 from the first
leg, Marine’s task at Hardenhuish Park was made easier
as the hosts were reduced to nine men with Greg Tindle
and Ashley Williams seeing red.

Ash Edenborough fired the
visitors ahead at the break. Ross Adams levelled in the
second half but Sean Wood’s strike sealed a 2-1 win on
the night and 6-3 victory on aggregate.
Manager Mark Collier said:
“We haven’t been doing great in the league but we’ve won
tonight and winning breeds confidence.” Marine will now
meet Swindon Town in the final.
