BARNES UPDATE

Manager Mark Collier has revealed that striker Mark Barnes, who has not been in the first squad for a number of weeks,  will not feature for the first-team in the remaining games of the campaign.

 

“He’s called an early end to the season,” said Collier. “His partner is about to give birth and he works nights which makes it difficult for the away travel. “His unavailability made it increasingly difficult for him to commit to the first team.”

 

The boss added that he had not yet discussed with the former Hitchin Town man, whether he would return in 2010/11.
