ADDITIONS TO BACKROOM STAFF TO REPLACE RICHARD & GERRY

It was with great disappointment that manager Mark Collier reported that two of his backroom staff from last season would not be joining him in the dugout this coming season.

Assistant manager Richard Smith has decided that he would like to spend more time with his family and Sports Therapist Gerry McKay is committed to a heavy workload of travelling abroad Tom Jones ~ Assistant Managerwith his job. Both have given Mark and the club a great service over the past few seasons and we wish them all the best in the future.

Whilst the departure of two excellent ambassadors from the club Mark is pleased to announce that he has filled the vacancies very quickly with Tom Jones (pictured) returning to the club as his assistant.

Tom has previously manager Busan l'Park (Korea) and the Armenia national side and had a short spell as Swindon Supermarine manager in 2003 after playing for the club between 1999-2003. He has also played for Swindon Town, Aberdeen, Aldershot, Woking and Weymouth.

Stepping into Gerry's shoes will be Denis Murphy. Denis currently works for the NHS and is a fully qualified Sports Therapist. He was previously with a Gaelic Rugby team in Reading and was highly recommended to Mark.

We hope they both have an enjoyable and successful time at Hunts Copse.
