The football club is very fortunate to be supported by the Supporters Club which began in earnest during the 2008/09 season. As well as relying on match day admission income, advertising and sponsorship - the Supporters Club contributed a substantial amount last season and we looked forward to a continued involvement from the Supporters Club and its members during the 2009/10 season.

Our average home gate of 207 last season was a 33%  improvement on the previous season and a 55% increase on the 2005/06 season, just three years ago! If we could continue with last seasons increase then our average gate this 2009/10 season would be around 275.

We'd obviously like to see these people regularly coming through the turnstile and that's the target for both the Football Club and Supporters Club, both will look to encourage the community of Swindon to come along and watch the first team.
