Ashan Holgate gets back to help the defence at this free kickMarine lose Stanley as new boy rescues point 7:00am

NICK Stanley played his last game for Supermarine as the club’s latest new boy salvaged a point against Evesham in the Southern Premier.

Defender Carl McHugh, signed from Reading Academy on work experience alongside sub Dave Murphy, headed home in the final minute to cancel out David Accam’s rifled effort shortly after the break.

That goal ensured wide man Stanley did not taste defeat in his last game for the South Marston side, before subsequently joining play-off chasing Leamington. But with the winger departed, the Webb’s Wood outfit are now in a race against time to sign a replacement ahead of the visit to league leaders Salisbury tomorrow.
