After two years as the Zamaretto League, the Southern League has recruited Evo-Stik as its new sponsors. They already sponsor the Northern Premier League where their deal is reportedly worth £150,000 a year and they've had great success with brand awareness and now believe they can achieve that same success in the Southern League over the next three seasons.

The Southern League will receive an estimated £100,000, a great improvement on the £35,000 a year provided by Zamaretto.

It is believed by Evo-Stik also approached the Isthmian League about replacing Ryman who have been the sponsors since 1997. However, league chairman Alan Turvey has close links with Ryman owner Theo Paphitis so Evo-Stik's goal of blanket sponsorship of Steps 3 and 4 of the non-league pyramid is unlikely to be achieved.

Southern League football clubs will be required to endorse the Evo-Stik logo on the playing shirt sleeve, match balls, matchday programmes and club website's from July 1st 2011.
